Congrats PM Modi on this achievement! Do you want to know the good news? Well, PM has been declared as the winner of TIME’s ‘Person Of The Year’- Reader’s Poll Award.

This poll closed on Sunday and PM won with 18 percent of the “Yes” votes by that time. What’s more exciting is that the PM beat closest contenders Julian Assange(Founder of Wikileaks), Donald Trump and Barack Obama, who received 7 percent of the “Yes vote”.
He also left behind Mark Zuckerberg and Hillary Clinton, who had 2 percent and 4 percent of the votes.
The announcement of the same would be made on the 7th of December and the winner has been selected by the editors of the TIME Magazine.

It is good to see that Narendra Modi has proved to be the influential figure of this year, as per the poll. According to the magazine, this poll was an important factor to judge who has shaped 2016.
This is the 2nd time that Modi has won this poll; the first time being in the year 2014(16 percent of yes votes).
The US Publication always bestows this title to the influential person of the year and the PM has been the contender for 4 years in a row.
