Aamir Khan has put in his 100 percent to make Dangal a superhit! He has toiled hard to portray Mahavir Singh Phogat in the movie and no doubt, he has been successful in every aspect. Fans all across the globe are loving it.
While the whole of India is still under the stress of demonetization, Dangal has wrestled it really well. Finally, due to everyone’s efforts, the movie has entered the 100 crores club and that too just within 3 days, isn’t it amazing?
On the 3rd day, the movie collected 42.35 crores, bringing the total to 106.95 crores! With these collections the movie has broken many records; let’s have a look…
1. 5th film of Aamir Khan to enter the 100 crore club, others being Ghajini, 3 Idiots, Dhoom 3 and PK.
2. Beat PK, Talash and 3 Idiots in terms of opening weekend collections. Yes, on the opening weekend, PK had earned 95.41 crores, Talaash had earned 47.10 crores and 3 Idiots had earned 40.65 crores.
3. With 42.35 crores on Sunday, it was the biggest ever day (Single day collections) in 2016. Earlier, Sultan held the record with 39 crores, but now, Dangal broke it.
4. Beat FAN’s lifetime collection of 85 crores, on the first weekend itself.
5. 2nd movie of Aamir Khan to have entered 100 crores in 3 days; the first one being Dhoom 3 with 107.61 crores.
6. Beat Sultan in terms of 3rd day collections. Sultan had collected 31.66 crores, while Dangal collected 42.35 crores.
