Some movies are a hit, while some create records! Dangal is one of them as it is brightly shining at the Box Office and is just one step or maximum two steps away from breaking a prestigious record.
First it entered the list of top 5 grossers of 2016, and now, Dangal is all set to become the highest grosser at the Box Office. It has maintained a steady pace since the time it hit the big screens. Sunday collections were stupendous and the total was taken to 270.47 crores, everyone was eagerly waiting for the 300 crores club. On the 2nd Monday, it inched a step closer to the club and now all eyes are on this BIG RECORD of beating Sultan’s lifetime collections i.e. 300.45 crores.

Dangal enjoyed a splendid Monday with 13.45 crores, which further took the total to 284.69 crores. Now it is just 16 crores away from breaking Sultan’s big record and taking its place as the highest grosser of 2016. 16 crores is not at all a big thing for this Aamir Khan starrer, considering the collection trends in 10 days.
Such a strong hold on the 2nd Monday was unexpected; some films fail to get these numbers even on the opening Monday! Kudos to Dangal for entertaining the audience with its brilliant storyline, excellent characters and above all, the realistic element that was maintained throughout the movie.
