One of the most awaited movies of the year 2017, Akshay Kumar starrer “Jolly LLB 2” is set to release and going by the trailer, it seems to be a complete entertainer.
While the second part stars Akshay Kumar in the lead, the main role in the first part was played by actor Arshad Warsi and the media persons are continuously asking his comments on the fact that he is not a part of the sequel.
The same thing happened last night at a red carpet event in Mumbai where reporters asked Arshad to comment on not being a part of “Jolly LLB 2”. This is what the actor said,
“Why are you touching my weak point? Just kidding! It’s not like that! I’ll tell you honestly and I have said it a lot of times, I am a very lethargic person. During Bigg Boss, I didn’t want to do anything further than that, and Jolly LLB was a coincidence. And as I said earlier, I am very happy that Akshay is doing it. Akshay and I talk a lot, and I think he has done a damn good job. I am really happy, and I really hope that the film does well.”
When he was asked whether he watched the movie or not, he said, “I haven’t watched it yet, I am busy promoting Irada.” Irada is a drama thriller and it is going to release on 17th February, 2017.
Earlier when Akshay was finalized for the lead role in “Jolly LLB 2”, Arshad stated that it was he who was supposed to be in the flick, but the makers wished to have a bigger star and hence, Akshay is doing it.
Despite competition, Akshay and Arshad have been maintaining friendly relations, in fact just recently, Khiladi Kumar thanked Arshad for inspiring him to do “Jolly LLB 2” and he also hoped that the sequel can repeat the success story of the first part.
