Jolly LLB 2, the Akshay Kumar starrer hit the screens 2 weeks back and has been doing a great business at the ticket window. Till Friday, the movie had already collected Rs 80 crores, and very soon, it might enter the 100 crores club.
However, in the 2nd week, the competition has become intense with 3 new releases i.e. Irada, Running Shaadi and The Ghazi attack. While Irada and Running Shaadi couldn’t manage to get even a crore, The Ghazi Attack got a good opening. Let’s see how Jolly LLB 2 has fared in this competition.

On Sunday, the Akshay Kumar movie saw a 53 percent growth and earned around 6.35 crores, taking the total to 88.20 crores. Very soon the movie will achieve 100 crores, don’t you think so? In spite of so much competition the courtroom drama did really well at the Box Office even on the 9th day. Let’s see how much it mints on Sunday.

The Ghazi Attack opened to good collections; on Friday it earned 4.25 crores (1.65 crores from Hindi version) and 5.25 crores on Saturday (2.25 crores from Hindi version). The total stands at 9.50 crores, out of which the total of Hindi version is 3.90 crores. The collections are not that great, if we compare them to that of Jolly LLB 2’s. The movie is an underwater war drama and revolves around sinking of PNS Ghazi during 1971 Indo-Pak war. Kay Kay Menon, Taapsee Pannu, Satyadev Kancharana, Rana Daggubati and Rahul Singh have done their jobs well.

Total- 9.50 crores
On the other hand, official collections of Running Shaadi & Irada are not out but according to KRK, the collections are;

Running Shaadi earned 60 lakhs & Irada earned 40 lakhs; their performance has been very poor at the Box Office. But it’s good to see that the Akshay Kumar starrer is stable.
