We all know that guys are eager to have sex, but this boy has done it at very young age. Yes, a 12 year old boy has fathered a baby girl, after impregnating a 16 year old girl from Kerala. The baby was delivered few months back in an Ernakulam hospital and doctors carried out genetic profiling of both, the father as well as the baby girl.
After taking the blood samples, the DNA profiles were generated by the experts; all this happened when the baby was just 18 days old.
Investigators gave a confirmation about the same and tagged the boy as, “The youngest dad in India”.
According to reports, the identities of the baby and her parents haven’t been revealed yet, because the POSCO Act i.e. Protection of Children from Sexual Offences doesn’t permit to do so.
Dr. P k Jabbar, the Head of Endocrinology Department of Thiruvananthapuram’s Medical College Hospital, guessed that the 12 year old might be having a condition named, “Precocious Puberty”, in which children attain puberty at an early age.
He further added,
“It was not an unusual medical condition but no incident of a boy becoming a father at the age of 12 had come to notice so far.”
Inspector Jayakrishna S who is investigating the matter said that a case has been filed against him under the POSCO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act; a legal case had to be filed because the boy and the girl were minors.
