Vidya Balan’s hard-hitting dialogues and her strong character in Begum Jaan’s trailer had already impressed us. Finally, it hit the screens yesterday but isn’t getting the expected response. The opening day collections of the movie have been very poor, thanks to the clash with the BIG Hollywood movie, “Fast and Furious 8”, starring Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel.
FF8 had a better opening than many of the Bollywood films released this year; maybe the preferences of movie buffs are changing, don’t you feel so? Let’s have a look at the first day collections of “Begum Jaan” and the 2nd day collections of “Fast and Furious 8”.
Begum Jaan collections!
This Vidya Balan starrer witnessed a poor response on the first day. Here’s what Taran Adarsh tweeted about the figures.

The start is not at all good; it minted just 3.94 crores on Friday. In order to sustain, this film needs to show a good growth on the weekend.
Fast and Furious 8 collections!
The film has been ruling the Box Office since day 1. On Friday, the collections saw a good growth. Here’s what Taran Adarsh tweeted;

On the 2nd day, the film earned 16.10 crores, bringing the total to 38.60 crores, FANTABULOUS. There are chances that it might enter the 50 crores on Saturday itself.
