Swami Om is undoubtedly the king of controversies! We had seen how he created ruckus in Bigg Boss 10 house.
He used to torture all contestants in the house and play dirty games. This was the reason why everyone hated him to the core. After that too, he was beaten by public on many occasions; still, he doesn’t show any sign of improvement.
Finally, the self-proclaimed Godman has been arrested by Delhi Crime Branch on theft charges. Yes, years ago, his brother had lodged a complaint against Om Swami because he had stolen bicycles and some documents from his store. Last year, Delhi’s Saket court had declared him as serial offender.
So, on the basis of FIR that was lodged in November 2008, Om Swami has been arrested.
Why the complaint was filed?
Basically, his brother Pramod Jha had said that Om Swami had broken his cycle shop in Delhi’s Lodhi colony along with 3 men and had stolen 11 cycles, important documents and expensive spare parts. Even a non-bailable warrant was issued.
Now, officials of Lodhi Colony police station have arrested him; a senior police officer said that Om Swami was hiding in Bhajanpara area of Delhi but they successfully caught hold of him with the help of Inter-state cell of crime branch.
