There is no denying the fact that Akshay Kumar must be on cloud nine after having a great 2017 and now he has started 2018 on a great note too. Khiladi Kumar has just released the first look of “Kesari” in which he is looking superb in the get-up of Havildar Ishar Singh.
The movie is based on the Battle of Saragarhi. However, it is not just Akshay who is working in a movie which is based on the Battle of Saragarhi; Ajay Devgn and Randeep Hooda are also playing the character of Havildar Ishar Singh in different flicks. Besides, it is said that a TV show is also being made on the same subject.
Akshay has started shooting of the film today and he shared the look on the micro-blogging site Twitter:

This is for the first time that Akshay Kumar is working with Dharma Productions and as per Mumbai Mirror, Lawrence Woodward will be choreographing the stunts in the movie. Lawrence is known for his work on Mad Max.
There are reports that Parineeti Chopra will be playing the female lead in the film. It was supposed to be a joint venture between Karan Johar and superstar Salman Khan. However, it didn’t work out and now only Dharma Productions is producing it.
