This week, 3 movies clashed at the Box Office. Yes, on Friday, Kaalaakandi, Mukkabaaz and 1921 hit the screens and it was obvious that the business of all 3 films will be affected.
Well, they did have a dull opening even though their storyline was good. Tiger Zinda Hai still ruled the Box Office and left behind all these 3 movies.
Let us see how much these 3 movies earned on Friday and Saturday respectively;
1921
1921 did a good job as compared to other 2 movies. Being a horror movie, it managed to attract some crowd. On the first day, it earned 1.5 crores and on the 2nd day, it earned 2.25 crores, bringing in the total to 3.75 crores.
Kaalakandi!
This is a DISASTER. Very limited audience opted for this movie. It had a good concept but unfortunately, couldn’t win hearts of the audience. On the first day, it earned 1 crores, while on the 2nd day, it earned 95 lakhs bringing in the total to 1.95 crores.
Mukkabaaz
Mukkabaaz started off very slowly but showed an excellent growth on Saturday. It opened to 75 lakhs but on Saturday, it got a whopping 1.5 crores, bringing the total to 2.25 crores. Hope it shows some more growth on Sunday.
