Padmaavat, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film is finally running after months of tensions and anxieties. There was no surety about this Deepika, Ranveer and Shahid starrer hitting the screens, because Karni Sena tried all possible ways to stop it.
From violence to Karni Sena to late approval from CBFC, Padmaavat faced enough problems. Now that the movie has released, it is getting immense appreciation from critics and audience alike.
Not only has the film glorified the history perfectly, but even the actors have given an amazing performance. On day 1, Padmaavat earned 18 crores. The numbers were less since it was a Thursday.

On the 2nd day, numbers were expected to increase since it was a republic day holiday. Well, the day 2 collections are out and they are AWESOME.
Early estimates by Box Office India say that the 2nd day collections of Padmaavat are 32 crores. Well, this is indeed a BIG JUMP; 2nd day has been much better for the film as compared to the first.
