Luv Ranjan’s “Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety” starring Kartik Aaryan, Sunny Singh and Nushrat Bharucha in lead roles has succeeded in drawing audiences to theatres even on Monday. Despite a slow beginning in terms of collections, the flick succeeded in showing growth on the second day and did superb on its first weekend.
On the opening day, the movie collected Rs 6.25 crore while on Saturday, a growth of 45% was witnessed as it earned Rs 9 crore and figures increased to Rs 10.81 crore on Sunday.
Interestingly, SKTKS passed the Monday test as well and in spite of its being a working day, the film collected a good amount of Rs 5.17 crore. Hence, the total earnings of the movie so far becomes Rs 31.23 crore.
Day 1 – Rs 6.25 crore
Day 2 – Rs 9 crore
Day 3 – Rs 10.81 crore
Day 4 – Rs 5.17 crore
Total – Rs 31.23 crore
The Jodi of Kartik Aaryan and Nushrat Bharucha has once again done wonders and viewers are showering love on them. What’s more, word of mouth has played an important role in the movie’s earnings and taking into consideration the fact that it’s a low budget film, it won’t be difficult for SKTKS to recover costs.
