The veteran actress Sridevi took her last breath on 24th February in Dubai where she went to attend her nephew’s wedding with her family. The forensic report stated that she died due to accidental drowning and after a 3-day long post-mortem investigation, her mortal remains were brought to India.
Sridevi was step-mom of Arjun Kapoor and Anshula but despite that, the brother-sister duo stood by Boney Kapoor as he reached Mumbai with Sridevi’s mortal remains.
Reportedly, Arjun Kapoor was shooting for “Namastey England” in Ludhiana but as he came to know about Sridevi’s death, he stopped the shooting and flew to Dubai to accompany Boney Kapoor in this tough time. After hearing the sad news, Anshula was also with Janhvi and Khushi, daughters of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, at the residence of Anil Kapoor. Not only this, she also stayed close to Boney after he arrived in Mumbai.

Mona, the first wife of Boney Kapoor and mother of Arjun and Anshula, passed away in 2012. In media interactions, Arjun revealed that he shared a cordial relationship with Sridevi and had never wished bad for anyone. Talking about their relation, he said,
“It’s very cordial. I respect anybody in my father’s life the same way because he would expect me to do that. So I respect her and don’t wish ill towards anyone. That’s how I follow…”
It was indeed a tough time for the Kapoor family and people appreciated the way Arjun supported his father and step-sisters and was there all the time.
