It has been 8 years that Anup Soni has been hosting Crime Patrol, one of India’s favorite shows. However, there is sad news for fans as the actor has finally called it quits. Just like you, even we were heartbroken to know what Anup Soni is bidding goodbye to the show.
Well, he has served the notice period & unfortunately, we are never going to see him on the show ever again. Want to know the reason for this? Anup feels that the actor in him is being killed; due to this very reason, he took this big decision.
Anup also says that his fans are pretty disappointed on the same, however, he says that they should understand his situation as well.
In an interview with Bombay Times, Anup says,
“Eight years is a long time and I have had a beautiful journey on the show. However, I miss acting. I am an actor first. I haven’t acted in five years. I am looking forward to doing films and shows.”
He also says,
“I know it could be, but I am sure that the audience will also understand my situation. It has been a long time and I don’t want to become monotonous.”
Anup says that he has been quite passionate about hosting and can’t take it casually. But he says that he doesn’t want to kill the passion for acting.
Now, he wishes to experiment with a variety of acting roles. We are seriously going to miss him a lot & as of now, we don’t know who will replace him.
