Rajkumar Hirani was dragged into the #MeToo controversy some months ago. His assistant director for the film Sanju alleged him over se*ual harassment and it was quite a shocker for many.
After Hirani’s name came in the #MeToo controversy, there was also a fear that Munna Bhai 3 will get shelved.
Sanjay Dutt, the hero of Munna Bhai franchise had an interaction with Rajeev Masand recently and talked about the allegations on his friend Raju Hirani and also about the fate of Munna Bhai 3.
Talking about the allegations on Hirani, Sanjay Dutt said that he doesn’t believe the allegations because he has worked with Hirani for so many years and he knows him. He said that he don’t know why the lady is putting those allegations on him because it doesn’t make any sense to them. Sanjay Dutt also said that if she has allegations that she should file an FIR.
Talking about Munna Bhai 3, Sanjay Dutt said that he doesn’t have an idea about it. The last time he met Hirani, he said that the film will be made 110% sure and even Vidhu Vinod Chopra said so. However, Sanjay Dutt said that he feels they will make the film when they will feel it’s the right time.
