Super 30 is helmed by Vikas Bahl starring Hrithik Roshan and Pankaj Tripathi. Mrunal Thakur made her Bollywood debut with this one. Super 30 created a massive buzz for various reasons after so much controversy the movie finally hit the theatres.
Despite being a no masala movie Super 30 managed to draw a huge number of audience on its first and second day. The film witnessed about 50-55% growth on Saturday and earned in the ₹17-18 crore net range.
“Super 30” has collected Rs 11.83 crore on its first day which is higher than the opening collections of Hrithik’s last release “Kaabil” that minted Rs 10.43 crore.
The movie is based on the life of a brilliant mathematician and educationist Anand Kumar who is pretty famous for providing free coaching to students who are from economically weaker households for the entrance examinations of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
