Pakistani player Fakhar Zaman is considered as one of the best cricketers of the present time by his fans as he is the first Pakistani to score a double hundred in the ODI. He scored 210 not out against Zimbabwe and since then, he is seen as an inspiration by Pakistani aspiring cricketers. Presently, Fakhar is in England where he is playing for Glamorgan in the T20 Blast tournament and has scored half-century in the seven matches that he has played so far.
On the morning of September 1, the fans of Fakhar Zaman were in for a rude shock as the photos on his Instagram account (fakharzaman719) were deleted and some unsolicited pics were uploaded.
In one of the photos, an announcement regarding the sale of the account was also made. The left-handed batsman has nearly 173K followers and his account was a verified one.
This incident was also posted on another social media network Reddit and undoubtedly, everyone was left shocked. It was then that Fakhar Zaman’s teammate Shaheen Shah Afridi decided to convey Instagram about the unfortunate incident and he took to Twitter for contacting Instagram.
Shaheen Shah Afridi wrote,
“Hi @instagram, the Insta account of Pakistan National pride & cricket player, Fakhar Zaman has been hacked. His Insta account is FakharZaman719 and its verified. A lot of people look up to him. Can you please look into this and help him in getting it back? Many thanks!”

Earlier also Instagram accounts of cricketers and other sportspersons have been hacked but soon restored as well. Indian cricketer Kuldeep Yadav and Olympic gold medal winner Abhinav Bindra have also faced similar situations. Let’s hope that Fakhar Zaman’s account gets restored soon too.
