M S Dhoni is a big name in the World of Cricket, now it will attain the same status in the Indian Film Industry as MSD has finalized the deal for his biopic at a whopping Rs. 80 Crores.
Earlier also movies are made on the lives of sportspersons such as Milkha Singh, Mary Kom, Paan Singh Tomar, etc. but no one has charged such an exorbitant amount, in fact it is said that Milkha Singh charged only Re. 1 from the filmmaker Rakyesh OmPrakash Mehra for making movie on his life.
If the information coming from the sources is true, then MS Dhoni has already been paid Rs. 20 Crores out of the total amount for his Biopic, which is named as “MS Dhoni – The Untold Story” and it is also said that Dhoni will have sharing in the profits and royalties as well.
This movie will be made under the banner of Fox Star Studios, directed by “A Wednesday” fame Neeraj Pandey and the lead role of Dhoni will be played by Sushant Singh Rajput. Nothing can be said now about the release dates of the movie but one thing for sure is that this movie is going to attract large number of viewers to the Cinema Hall.
