The former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is undoubtedly one of the greatest cricketer of all times and what make him great are his dedication and devotion towards cricket which is not just a game but is considered as a religion in India. There are many records in his name which seem impossible to break and one of them is 100 centuries in the international career. The 100th century was certainly a special one, Master Blaster scored it on 16th May 2012 against Bangladesh in a match played in Asia Cup and the batsmen who was on the other end was former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina.

Recently, 34 years old Suresh Raina gave an interview to a sports news website in which he talked about the chat that he had with Little Master when he scored his 100th ton. Suresh Raina said that after Sachin took his 100th run by hitting Shakib Al Hasan for a single, he congratulated Sachin and said that it was due for many months. In reply, Sachin Tendulkar said that his hair turned grey while waiting for this special moment and this statement made Suresh Raina realize the amount of pressure that the legend was carrying on his shoulders.

Sachin Tendulkar had to wait for almost a year for scoring his 100th century, in that match he played an innings of 114 runs and had a partnership of 86 runs with the left-handed batsman.

Suresh Raina also talked about other memorable moments that he had with Sachin Tendulkar, the most memorable being the win of the 2011 ICC World Cup. Raina said that he had a number of unforgettable memories with Sachin paaji since he made his international debut in 2005 including the CB series win in Australia in 2008, winning the ODI and test series in New Zealand in 2008-09 and the moment when team India secured the top position in the ICC test rankings.

Suresh Raina was badly missed by his IPL team Chennai Super Kings and fans in the IPL 2020 and now the big question is whether we will be able to see him playing in the IPL 2021 or not. What do you think about it?
