Family Man Director Opens Up On Lonavala Mystery, Says This Question Should Never Be Answered

The Family Man series is one of the most successful web series of the present times and the best thing about it is that the second season was also loved by audiences. In fact it won’t be wrong to say that the inclusion of actress Samantha Akkineni in the cast has added more thrill and excitement to the show. The Family Man stars Manoj Bajpayee as the lead character who works as a secret intelligence agent while the role of his wife Suchi is played by Priyamani.

Many viewers were expecting that in the second season, they would get to know what happened between Suchi and her boss Arvind (Sharad Kelkar) in Lonavala but the makers chose not to touch that issue in the second part.

At the end of the first season, Suchi and Arvind went on an official trip to Lonavala and it was implied that something happened between them but nothing could be said with clarity. Moreover at the end of the second season , Suchi is seen saying to her husband Srikant Iyer (Manoj Bajpayee) that she wants to tell him something but before she says anything, the screen turns black.

In a recent interview, the co-producer Krishna DK has talked about the Lonavala mystery and said that they are hiding nothing from the audiences, they are just leaving hints for them so that they can keep on guessing what could have happened. He further adds that the audiences will also come to know when Srikant will get to know because he is also suspicious as to what has happened.

The director of the series, Suparn Verma says that they have never thought that the Lonavala mystery would have got so much importance from the viewers, especially when almost the whole Delhi was in trouble. Suparn also talks about the second aspect of the issue as he says that everybody is interested to know things about the woman but nobody would have been interested in knowing anything if the same thing had happened between Srikant and Saloni, the character played by Gul Panag.

Suparn is of the opinion that this question should be left unanswered for as long as possible as why Suchi can’t have some privacy in her life.
