Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan turned 58 today and he is getting birthday wishes from all over the world as he enjoys a huge fan following across the globe. Aamir Khan is one of the few actors of the industry who leaves no stone unturned in getting into the skin of the character and this is the reason he is called as a perfectionist of Bollywood.
Aamir Khan worked as a child actor in some movies but he got his big break in 1988 when he was starred in “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak” opposite Juhi Chawla. The movie was loved by audiences and Aamir became a star instantly so it was quite obvious that many directors wanted to cast him in their films. Though he has worked with many top actresses of the industry but you will be surprised to know that once he was offered a movie opposite Sridevi which he refused.
While Aamir Khan became popular after the release of QSQT, Sridevi was already a big star at that time and working with her would have been a great opportunity for Aamir. Though a moviemaker managed to bring them both together for a film, Aamir Khan chose to back out as he felt that audiences were not ready for seeing him working with Sridevi and their pairing would not look appropriate as Sridevi would look older to him.
As per some reports, Aamir Khan felt that after playing a college student in QSQT, audiences would not like to see him in a flick with Sridevi and at that time, he wanted to work with new and young actresses such as Juhi Chawla, Manisha Koirala, Madhuri Dixit, etc.

Aamir Khan’s last movie “Laal Singh Chaddha” (2022) which was an adaptation of Tom Hanks’ “Forrest Gump” (1994) failed in pulling viewers towards theatres but his fans are hopeful that he will surely make a comeback and give a hit on the box-office.
