The actor Sunil Grover’s popularity increased manifold when he played the characters of Gutthi and Dr. Mashoor Gulati in comedy show, Comedy Nights with Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show, respectively. It won’t be wrong to say that Sunil Grover played an important role in making these comedy shows successful.
However, things turned ugly in 2018 when Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma had a mid-air brawl in the flight when they were returning to India from Australia. After that, Sunil Grover quit the show which resulted in a dip in its TRPs.
Last year, Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma decided to patch up and they made an announcement as per which they would reunite for a show on a digital platform.
Recently during an interview when Sunil Grover was asked whether things are fine between him and Kapil as of now or not, he said that he thinks all is fine. He added that they will announce more details on the show and they will talk about it as well.
Talking about the mid-air brawl, Sunil Grover said that initially the press coverage that their fight got, it disturbed him but now it doesn’t affect him anymore. He said that he knows the truth so what other person says or thinks, it’s his problem and not his. He asked what the credibility of all those people who are raising fingers and asking questions is.
He further said that if he needs to answer any question, he will answer but usually there is no need to explain anything to anyone. According to the actor, those people don’t have complete understanding of the matter, they don’t know facts and they are sayings things because it is their job. He concluded by saying that more attention is given when negative things are written but they all will also understand eventually.
As far as the show is concerned, not much is known but the rest of the cast includes Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Archana Puran Singh and Rajiv Thakur.
