Hindi movies have become an integral part of our lives and many times we not only admire the actors but also tend to copy them, their talking style, their walking style, etc.
There have been times when dialogues of a movie have become so popular that many memes have been made on them and in this article, we will tell you about few such dialogues:
1. Saala ye dukh kahe khatam nahi hota (Masaan):
This dialogue was spoken by Vicky Kaushal in his debut movie “Masaan” which released in 2015. The movie also starred Richa Chaddha, Shweta Tripathi, Sanjay Mishra and Pankaj Tripathi in important roles. The movie was directed by Neeraj Ghaywan and it was written by Varun Grover.
2. Jal lijiye, aap thak gaye honge (Vivah):
Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, “Vivah” was released in 2006; the movie starred Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao in lead roles and it was a big hit at the box-office. The dialogue, “Jal lijiye…” became a meme material pretty soon as we rarely hear people using the word “jal” for water.
3. Mera toh life itna kharab ho gaya (Queen):
Released in 2014, the movie “Queen” starred Kangana Ranaut in the lead role and Rajkummar Rao along with Lisa Hayden played supporting roles. The film was directed by Vikas Bahl and it was the story of an Indian Punjabi girl who chose to go on her honeymoon alone after her fiancé calls off their marriage just two days before the wedding ceremony.
4. Mujhe ghar jaana hai (Raazi):
This meme is one of the favourites of the Internet community, Alia Bhatt starrer Raazi got released in 2018 and the spy thriller movie was directed by Meghna Gulzar. It also starred Vicky Kaushal and Jaideep Ahlawat in supporting roles.
5. Zor Zor se bol ke logon ko scheme bata de (Phir Hera Pheri):
The “Hera Pheri” franchise is one of the most loved comedy franchises of the Indian Cinema and this dialogue was spoken by Akshay Kumar in the second movie of the franchise, “Phir Hera Pheri” which got released in 2006. The film also starred Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty, Bipasha Basu, Rimii Sen, Rajpal Yadav, etc. in important roles and was a big hit at the box-office.
6. Tumse na ho payega (Gangs of Wasseypur):
Directed by Anurag Kashyap, both the parts of “Gangs of Wasseypur” got released in 2012. The series had an ensemble cast including Manoj Bajpayee, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Pankaj Tripathi, Richa Chaddha, Huma Qureshi, etc. and this dialogue was spoken by Tigmanshu Dhulia.
7. Woh stree hai kuch bhi kar sakti hai (Stree):
Released in 2018, “Stree” is a horror comedy which starred Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Shraddha Kapoor, Aparshakti Khurana, etc. in important roles. The movie was a big hit at the box-office and this dialogue which was spoken by Pankaj Tripathi in the movie got very famous in a short period of time.
8. Don’t underestimate the power of a common man (Chennai Express):
Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer “Chennai Express” was a blockbuster and SRK can be heard saying this dialogue many times in the movie whenever he is in a problematic situation. Released in 2013, the film was directed by Rohit Shetty and it was loved a lot by the audiences.
