Actress turned politician Kangana Ranaut created a major buzz on social media after a recent video of the actress surfaced online on Thursday evening. In the clip, Kangana was seen walking with her security team but what caught everyone’s attention was the mangalsutra she was wearing.
Within minutes, the video went viral, and many social media users started speculating that Kangana Ranaut might have secretly got married. However, reports have now clarified that the actress is not married.
The viral look is reportedly from her upcoming film, which is being referred to as Queen 2. The sequel is tentatively titled Queen Forever and Kangana Ranaut has already started shooting for the project.

The original Queen, released in 2013, was directed by Vikas Bahl and became one of the most celebrated films of Kangana. The movie followed the journey of Rani Mehra, a shy Delhi girl whose fiancé cancels their wedding just before the ceremony. Instead of staying heartbroken, she decides to go alone on her honeymoon to Paris and Amsterdam, where she discovers confidence, independence and a new perspective on life.
Apart from Kangana Ranaut, the film also starred Rajkummar Rao, Lisa Haydon and Mish Boyko. Queen was both a critical and commercial success and won several awards, including the National Film Award for Best Hindi Film and Best Actress for Kangana Ranaut.
Meanwhile, Kangana also has another major project lined up. The actress will soon be seen in Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, directed and written by Manoj Tapadia. The film is described as a tribute to unsung heroes and will focus on people who worked tirelessly behind the scenes during the 26/11 Mumbai Attacks.
Reportedly, Kangana Ranaut will play the role of a staff nurse in the movie. Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata is scheduled to release in theatres on June 12, 2026.
