Limits Of Inhumanity Crossed: 100 Men, Women & Kids Locked In Container, Transported In UP

In a horrific incident which took place in UP, a truck driver has been booked by Police for crossing all the limits of Inhumanity and Cruelty. This truck driver was transporting a shipping container which had more than 100 men, women as well as children. His heinous crime was disclosed when the passersby heard the people inside the container crying and screaming for help.

Sultanganj Ki Pulia was the first location where the truck was noticed by passersby, however it still travelled five kilometers from there. It was stopped by a policeman when he heard people crying and waving their hands for help from the little openings at the top of the container. Raj Uttam Narain , the policeman asked the driver to stop but the driver was in no mood to stop so the policeman had to chase the truck half a kilometer before he managed to stop it.

When the door of the container was opened, it was a horrific view – more than 100 persons of whom almost 50 were kids, were locked in the windowless container, wet with sweat and thirsty. Their condition was so bad that most of them were not able to stand up on their feet after they were freed, many were unconscious.

They were agricultural laborers being taken to Govardhan for sowing rice. Driver locked that container when insiders insisted for opening the container’s door, as it was difficult for them to stay inside after dawn.
