But their fairy-tale marriage ended in a bitter divorce, sparking endless debates and trolling online. What followed was a test of not only Dhanashree’s patience but also her parents’ resilience, as they faced societal pressure and unkind remarks from strangers. The ordeal revealed how deeply personal choices can turn into public battles in the digital age.

Speaking on a podcast, Dhanashree described the painful period of her divorce from Yuzvendra Chahal and the overwhelming trolling that came with it. While she was able to ignore most comments, her parents often felt crushed by the negativity. She shared how her mother would sometimes give up in sadness and her parents even stopped using their phones to avoid the pressure. Dhanashree said thats she had to firmly tell them not to answer calls or engage with online remarks.

She explained that her parents constantly reminded her of the courage it took to walk away from a marriage with someone more powerful and how proud they were of her decision. Leaving such a partnership was not easy but their support gave her strength.

Addressing how she handles trolls, Dhanashree stressed that personal life is meant to remain private. She said that just because one person chooses silence does not mean others have the right to take advantage of it. According to her, it is wrong to repeatedly dig into someone’s past. She urged people to move forward in life rather than going back to old chapters.

Dhanashree admitted that she has her side of the story but does not wish to speak about it now. For her, the priority is to heal and rebuild herself rather than defend every accusation. She emphasised the importance of maturity, saying that choosing not to respond publicly is also a form of strength. For now, she values privacy over explanations and believes that keeping her energies focused on personal growth is the right path forward.

Let’s see how Yuzvendra Chahal will react to her statements.
