A lively moment in the stands ended up stealing the show at Wankhede Stadium during the India vs USA clash at the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. While the focus was meant to be on the action on the field, a young woman dancing in the crowd caught cameras’ attention and within minutes, she was trending online.
The moment happened on Saturday, February 7, when Mumbai-based actress Tanvi Gadkari was spotted in the stands wearing an Indian team jersey and cheering enthusiastically for the Men in Blue. As the crowd erupted during the match, the broadcast briefly cut to her dancing with pure excitement. The clip quickly went viral across social media.
The same broadcast also showed the former Indian captain Rohit Sharma seated near Mukesh Ambani, politely turning down a cup of tea. That short moment added more buzz to the video, helping it spread even faster online.
Tanvi Gadkari later reacted to the unexpected attention by sharing the clip on her Instagram account. She mentioned that it was her first time watching a cricket match in a stadium and that she was surprised to see herself dancing on live television. According to the broadcast, her appearance on screen came shortly after the India captain Suryakumar Yadav played a “Supla” shot, prompting cameras to capture the energy in the stands.
