Sharing details on his blog, Amitabh Bachchan disclosed that he had shot for 12 short films and completed two still shoots in a single day. Despite the demanding schedule, he made sure to continue his regular interaction with fans, whom he affectionately refers to as his extended family or EF.

The 83 years old actor continues to stay busy with major projects. He is currently working on the sequel of Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin. The epic mythological science-fiction franchise features a star-studded cast including Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani.

The first film was set in a dystopian future in the year 2898 AD in the city of Kashi. The story followed a group attempting to protect the unborn child of a laboratory subject known as SUM-80, who was believed to be Kalki, the final incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

Before returning to the world of Kalki, Amitabh Bachchan was seen in the action thriller Vettaiyan, directed by T. J. Gnanavel. The film featured an ensemble cast including Rajinikanth, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Rohini, Rao Ramesh, Abhirami and Ramesh Thilak.

Even after decades in the industry, Amitabh Bachchan continues to demonstrate the work ethic that has made him one of the most enduring icons of Indian cinema. His latest revelation is yet another reminder that his passion for work remains as strong as ever.
