The worst condition of Women Security in India and especially in the capital of India, New Delhi is not hidden from anyone and we are going to tell you about one more incident which will make you understand why we Indians are afraid of Police more than the goons.
Radhika P Singh, who lives in Delhi, has posted a real incident on Facebook, about her friend being physically abused, that too in a busy area of New Delhi in day time. She has also uploaded the photo of the abuser, whose name is Nikhil, with the detailed description of the incident.
The incident took place in busy and popular area of Delhi, Connaught Place where Nikhil tried to forcibly kiss Radhika’s friend. The victim shouted and with the help of other people she caught Nikhil. After that she called Police which was, as per Radhika “was the worst mistake” that she had made. The police came after 40 minutes and as they came they took Nikhil aside and talked to him and after which they asked Radhika’s friend to submit her complaint in black and white.
The Police Sub-inspector, who has been identified as Sanjiv Kumar rejected the victim’s complaint two times terming it “unclear”, third time Radhika wrote the complaint for her friend in which she wrote “this guy Mr. Nikhil tried to molest me by attempting to kiss me” which was also discarded by the sub-inspector terming it as inaccurate and Radhika has quoted what Sub-Inspector said ‘according to him just trying to kiss a girl is NOT molestation’.
The police are not only trying to scare the victim with the police and court appearances but on top of that, they have also forwarded the victim’s phone number to Nikhil’s parents.
If this is the mental condition of our country’s policeman then making India a better place to live is an impossible task even for the God himself.
