Man Committed Suicide After He Was Denied Ticket Of PRDP

Sooraj Barjatya’s “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” has been in news all over for breaking the records of opening day collections but in Indore a person has committed suicide in an incident related to PRDP.

Dharmendra Kushwaha went to Anup Talkies for watching Salman Khan starrer “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” but he did not get the ticket and he also had a quarrel with the manager of the talkies over the matter.

Rakesh Kushwaha, brother of Dharmendra told, “The duo abused each other. The matter escalated when the manager came to our house along with some of his friends and thrashed Dharmendra brutally.”

After this, Dharmendra hanged himself using his mother’s saree at his residence in Bajrang Nagar, which comes under the jurisdiction of Heera Nagar police station.

Dharmendra’s mother was the first one to see him hanging; she called the other family members who took him to hospital where the doctors declared him dead.

The Incharge of Heera Nagar Police Station, Shashikant Chourasia told that a case has been registered against unknown persons for encouraging for suicide.

When the body was being taken for its last rites, some people from the crowd started throwing stones on the Anup and Aastha talkies, which are located side by side to each other, however police brought the situation under control after they reached there.

Shashikant Chourasia said, “We are probing the matter and based on the complaint lodged by the manager of the Anup talkies, a case has been registered against those who pelted stones.”
