There’s No “Phuc Dat Bich”! Man Cooked Up Whole Story Just For Fun & Trolled International Media

Few days ago, we informed you about a Facebook post where a man named Phuc Dat Bich expressed his anger over Facebook for blocking him again and again just because of his name, thinking of it a fake identity. What’s more, to support his claim, the man also attached the image of his passport as an identity proof but now the same person made a statement online that “Phuc Dat Bich” wasn’t his real name but merely a hoax.

As claimed by him, he’s of Vietnamese descent and on account of his miserable story, the so-called “poor” guy managed to get attention of the whole world; however, in his next post, he revealed that it was only he who plotted the complete tale and that the passport pic he uploaded was also fake.

As per Australia’ SBS News, “Bich” doesn’t seem a real surname and they could not find any record matching this name in Australia. SBS maintained that he further confessed for this soon when they made an attempt of contacting the man to comment on the incident.

“What started as a joke between friends, became a prank that made a fool out of the media and brought out the best in the people who reached out to me. It didn’t bring out the anger and darkness that we often see on the internet, but it brought a levity and humanity in a time we need it most,” as written on Facebook by “Joe Carr” (Phuc Dat Bich)

He continued, “To those who do have culturally specific and spectacular names, ignore the ignorance in those who may try to put you down.”

“Continue being the best person you can be and make your mark on the world in whatever way you can — even if it is a simple prank,” the man added.
