SRK To Donate Dilwale’s First Day Collection To Chennai Flood Victims?

There is no denying the fact that flood has caused a great damage to Chennai and for the same, few celebs have come forward to provide necessary assistance. From this perspective, mention must be made to RJ Balaji and actor Siddharth who, from the very beginning, have led the process and Telugu film actors too indulged in this good task later on. And now it seems the turn of Bollywood, as the King Khan has a plan of donating Dilwale’s first day collection to Chennai flood victims.

As reported by famous Tamil magazine Cinemavikatan, Shah Rukh decided to donate first day collection of DILWALE for Chennai flood victims; however, nothing can be said with confirmation about it since any official statement is not made by SRK so far in this connection. We are still waiting for an official statement from SRK, Gauri or Red Chillies regarding this donation which is going viral on internet. Moreover situation in Chennai is now under control and Diwale will be released on 18th Dec, so if there will be no rain till 18th December then Chennai will get recover from the damage.

On the other hand, number of Tollywood celebs, such as Allu Arjun and Rana Daggubati have made huge financial contribution for the sake of Chennai flood victims. What’s more, Mammootty, Malayalam superstar, even asked victims for using his homes and halls in the city besides providing financial help.

UPDATE:- We have just now received an official statement from Red Chillies for donation of Rs 1 Crore. In a statement issued by SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment, he said: “On behalf of Red Chillies Entertainment and Team Dilwale, please accept our contribution of Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund.”

He further said: “We appreciate the massive effort undertaken by your government (Tamil Nadu) and everyone in Chennai to deal with this calamity.”
