Secret Revealed: How This Guy Got 100 PERCENTILE In CAT In First Attempt WITH NO COACHING

Cracking CAT (Common Admission Test) is really tough but scoring 100 percentile is actually out of the ordinary. But what will you say if a candidate scores 100 percentile even without taking any coaching? Amazing, isn’t it?

Let us tell you about Prateek Bajpai who scored 100 percentile in CAT and surprisingly enough, he was mostly dependent on the Internet for his preparation. Prateek has completed B. Tech from NIT, Trichy and he is employed in Algeria, North Africa. He started preparing for CAT from the mid of May, last year.

There were no particular targets set by him; in fact, he was not even sure about the paper pattern but once he started studying, he devoted whatever time he had for preparation.

He used to work for 12 hrs a day so after returning home he studied 2.5 to 3 hrs daily and if by any chance he skipped his studies any day, he used to compensate for it the other day. Internet played a major role as there were no coaching centers in Algeria. In six months, Prateek took 47 mock tests; he used to study 6-8 hrs on weekly offs, which is Friday in Algeria and 2.5-3 hrs on working days.

His senior in Algeria, Mr. Madhusudan Dhoot and his sister, Prateeksha Bajpai , CA with LIC, supported him a lot in his preparation.

This is the message Prateek gave for all the CAT aspirants:

“One should give his 100 percent if one has made up his mind to attempt CAT. Study and work hard for yourself and not for your parents or sister/brother or friends. It is only you alone and no one else, who will get the benefit of your success. Don’t give the exam because your parents want you to. Do it only if you have an interest in doing so yourself. Be honest to yourself. A balanced performance is a must.”
