Can you believe such nonsense that couple out for V-Day will have to face punishments? Simply crap!  Hindutva outfits taking action in western UP have sticky warned that couples found celebrating this “foreign festival” in public will have to face punishments. With only 10 days remaining for this festival of love, the couples are warned to in prime targets those who will be found with red rose in their hand or hugging each other. What’s more an Arya Samaj wedding will be forced on those who are Hindu Couple. This is not the end, inter-faith couples will have to go through a damn ‘shudhikaran’ procedure according to Hindu Mahasabha.  A purification ritual for the Valentine couple?! Ohh please…we are still not educated.

Talking to TOI, the Mahasabha national president, Chandra Prakash Kaushik said India is a country of love where all 365 days are days to celebrate these feelings, then whats the need for the couples to observe only February 14 as the day of love? Fine…such a “uchha Vichar”. Our mom and dad love us for our whole life, then what’s the need to celebrate a Mother’s Day? Our teachers love us throughout; what’s there need to celebrate a Teacher’s Day either? Love is to be celebrated in all its forms. Just because it’s about ‘ishq wala love’, couples have to undergo punishments?
