Raghav Chopra, a journalist from CNN-IBN invited troubles for him, after a morphed image of PM Modi was tweeted by him. In this, Narendra Modi was shown touching the feet of Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the King of Saudi Arabia.
In the tweet he had written, “Will someone tell me what’s Modi ji doing in Saudi? Can’t be what it looks like surely,” However, the tweet is deleted now. On Tuesday, a complaint was filed against a journalist, even though the government said it is looking into this matter.
The complaint was filed by Arvind Gupta, the technology cell in-charge of the party with Cyber Cell of Delhi Police for posting morphed images of the PM on Twitter. Due action would be taken by the Cyber Cell, he stated.

Later, the journalist expressed regret for this error. Modi has returned last midnight from Saudi Arabia and this fake post has triggered anger among BJP party and on social media.
Initially, Chopra defended his post, but as the situation became quite serious, an apology was tweeted and he said “I sincerely regret posting a morphed picture of the PM on my Facebook page. I should have also verified its authenticity before tweeting it.” He further says that he apologizes to everyone for this unfortunate error.
The news channel stated that this fake image was posted by its staff and the organization was not at all aware of the same. They regret the error and apologized to everyone for this.
