The tweet of Upen Patel that hints at the trouble in the relationship with Karishma Tanna, his girlfriend created a lot of buzz.
He posted a tweet at 11.03 pm on 6th May which read that ‘2 much has come 2light & shown its true colours. love is never easy and when a certain foundation is broken it’s impossible 2move forward.’
Upen gives clarifications!
However, a day after that, Upen stated that everything was fine between him and Karishma and he said they haven’t broken-up. He further adds that there are ups and downs in all relationships and at the moment they aren’t at good space. Hence, the couple has taken time apart from each other for evaluating their relationship. They both deeply love each other but this is a tough time for them. They hope to get through this phase quickly and be back again. Upen adds “We are trying to work out our differences and come back stronger.”See his tweet!

It is not a publicity gimmick!
Many people felt it was nothing more than a publicity gimmick. Upen is disappointed and says”It’s insulting when people feel we are faking it. I have been in the industry for long and don’t have to stoop so low for publicity. Also, the woman (Karishma) we are talking about is an Indian woman. Do you think she has been faking a relationship with me?”
Upen and Karishma started dating each other in Bigg Boss (2014) and since then their relationship is being termed as a reality show affair. Upen says that they don’t wish to prove anything to anyone. Their personal life is always under public scrutiny but they are more concerned about their families and feelings. He feels that whatever people say is immaterial and he doesn’t really care. Upen adds “Two people will find a way, if they want to be together. I believe in love.”
