The transformation of Aamir Khan for Dangal has surely stunned everyone. Within few months, he turned from fat to fit.
Yes, the actor had already stated that he had received rigorous training and lost weight through various techniques; however, there were many experts who didn’t agree with him.
Ranveer Allahbadia, the fitness coach also released a video, in which he says that Aamir used steroids for getting an incredible physique for Dangal. However, all accusations were dismissed by Aamir Khan and he gave a befitting reply.
In an interview, Aamir said
“I have not used any substances. I think that the good rate to lose weight is roughly one pound a week. If you want to lose weight a little faster, then you have more of a calorie deficit. So, if you have calorie deficit of 500 calories a day, you lose one pound a week. If you have the calorie deficit of 1,000 calories a day, you lose two pounds a week. That is considered to be on the higher side. When I started the weight loss process, I was doing double of that. Four pounds a week, I was losing for the first three weeks. Then I brought it down to two pounds a week. So, I had 20 weeks to do that. If you do the math, you will understand that is how I got there. Immediately after PK, I was in the weight training mode for two years.”
Rahul Bhatt, Aamir Khan’s trainer preferred keeping mum on this issue. He said
“It would amount to breach of confidentiality for me to talk about this. All I can say is, steroids are an occupational hazard in the entertainment industry. It would be naive to believe that its consumption is nil, and to deny its existence. I am not admitting to anything. Just how my client got that physique, or how any entertainer gets into shape is a matter between the client and the coach. I am not at liberty to talk about this.”
