Aaron Finch Makes An Honest Admission Related To Indian Pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar

There was a time when India was known for producing great spinners as the pitches in India used to support spinners more than pacers but with time, things changed and the Indian team management understood the importance of making changes in pitches. Things changed more with the entry of Kapil Dev in the Indian team and his success encouraged more and more youngsters to take up fast bowling and then we got some really good bowlers such as Javagal Srinath, Venkatesh Prasad, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma, etc.

However, the Indian team got a star studded pace attack in the longest format of the game during the tenure of Virat Kohli as the captain and Ravi Shastri as the coach. The Indian T20 league, IPL also helped Indian cricket in preparing some good quality pacers and then they were groomed under Virat Kohli and Ravi Shastri. Currently Indian pace attack is pretty strong with names likes Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik, etc. and it is going to get stronger with the comeback of Jasprit Bumrah.

There is one pacer about whom we didn’t talk as he wasn’t able to cement his seat in the team in the longest format of the game because of his frequent injuries. That pacer is Bhuvneshwar Kumar, though he proved himself in the limited overs format yet his test career is not like what he and his fans would have expected it to be.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has troubled many batters in his career including the former skipper of the Australian team, Aaron Finch. In his international career, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has dismissed Aaron Finch seven times, out of which four times in the ODIs and surprisingly all these four dismissals came back to back in a series which was played between India and Australia in 2019.

During an interactive session on the micro-blogging site Twitter, an online user asked Finch to explain why he is troubled so much by Bhuvi and the former Aussie skipper made an honest admission.

The online user asked, “Big fan here, why did Bhuvi trouble you a bit.. Could you elaborate? Is it your feet coming across??”

In response, Aaron Finch stated, “Yep!! Tried for 15 years to stop that happening”.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is currently out of the Indian team, the last match that he played for the country was in November 2022 and the chances of him making a comeback in the Indian team also seem very dull at the moment.

That was quite an honest answer from Aaron Finch, what do you think?
