CID is one of the most watched and longest running shows of Indian television but nowadays some rumors are going rounds which are spreading false news about the show as well as actors. Needless to say, actors are also emotionally hurt on account of the same.
Everyone knows that ACP Pradyuman is the heart of the show and as per the rumor, in the episode which will be telecasted on 26th Dec, ACP Pradyuman will suffer a heart attack and die. Now, can we even imagine CID without ACP Pradyuman’s theatrics and his hand twisting action?
On top of that, people thought that the actor Shivaji Satam, who plays the ACP has suffered heart attack and died in reality. Since then, friends, relatives and well-wishers are trying to contact the family and find out the actual situation.
There is one more rumor doing rounds that the show is going off-air as Shivaji and Dayanand Shetty (the door breaking expert) have demanded a pay hike which the channel is not able to afford. However, all these rumors are false to the core; the show is going to complete 19 years and makers are not even thinking of replacing the actors, leave apart taking it off-air.
Shivaji is also angry with all these rumors and he poured out his fury in an interview to a leading entertainment portal. In his words,
“This type of news is really disturbing; honestly this is a very bad phase of my career. The news of my death has created lot of problems for me and my family members. I am getting so many calls and it’s really tiring to answer everyone. In fact, we have not even shot any kind of death scene; those viral pictures are photo shopped. I don’t know who has created this nuisance.”
In response to the rumor regarding demands of pay hike from the actors, he said,
“None of us have demanded extra pay for the show; neither is planning to quit the show. Personally, I am very happy to be a part of a show which has been running for so many years. I see another 10 years for the show. I just want to retire as an ACP.”
So all the fans of CID, just stay calm and enjoy the show as your favorite serial and actors are here to stay and entertain us.
