Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are counted among the most loved couples of Bollywood, often admired for setting relationship goals. Twinkle, daughter of the late legendary actor Rajesh Khanna, has a deep connection to the film industry.
During an old interview, Akshay Kumar revealed that he had never thought in his life that he would get married to the daughter of Bollywood superstar Rajesh Khanna. He also said that in his initial days, he used to visit Rajesh Khanna’s office with his photo and used to ask for work.
In his words, “Maine kabhi zindagi mein bhi nahin socha tha ki Rajesh Khanna ji ki beti se meri shaadi hogi. Kabhi nahin socha tha. Main unke office mein jaaya karta tha photo leke sir mujhe koi kaam dedo.”
Celebrity mehendi artist Veena Nagda also recalled the couple’s wedding, describing it as a “surprise” event. In an interview, she remembered Twinkle wearing a simple dress for the occasion, further emphasizing the low-key nature of the wedding.
On the work front, Akshay is gearing up for a new horror-comedy film, Bhooth Bangla in which he is going to collaborate with director Priyadarshan after a long gap of 14 years.
While details about the movie are still under wraps, it is rumoured to involve black magic and feature Akshay alongside three heroines. Akshay Kumar shared the motion poster of the movie on his birthday with the caption, “Thank you for your love on my birthday, year after year! Celebrating this year with the first look of ‘Bhooth Bangla’! I’m beyond excited to join forces with Priyadarshan again after 14 years. This dream collaboration has been a long time coming… can’t wait to share this incredible journey with you all. Stay tuned for the magic!”
