The recent past releases (“Samrat Prithviraj”, “Cuttputlli”, “Rakshabandhan” and “Bachchan Pandey”) of Khiladi Kumar have turned out to be flops and the only movie which has received some love from viewers is “Ram Setu”.

Now many have started raising questions on Akshay Kumar’s stardom as he has given continuous flops. Earlier the “Gabbar Is Back” star took the responsibility for the failure of his movies but recently during an event, Akshay Kumar has stated that producers and filmmakers should be held responsible for the failure of flicks and not audiences.

He attended the event with actor Ram Charan and when he was asked about the reason behind the failure of many Bollywood films, Akshay Kumar says that blaming viewers is not the right thing, instead the producers should be blamed for a film’s failure. He adds that there is a change in the taste of Hindi audiences in regard to movies and the filmmakers should have reinvented their ideas as per the new scenario.

Citing the example of Marvel movies, the “Baby” star says that producers should learn from Marvel and make epic movies which can be liked by viewers because now they want to see a lot of things (action, comedy, romance, etc.) in one movie. He goes on to say that now audiences want value for the money which they spent on a movie’s ticket and filmmakers should learn a lesson from Marvel and see what type of films they are making for their viewers.
