The Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar must be happy as his latest release “OMG 2” is performing quite well at the box-office despite getting huge competition from Sunny Deol starrer “Gadar 2”. “OMG 2” has earned more than Rs. 70 crore within five days of its release and there is one more reason for Akshay Kumar to be happy.

Many times we have seen Akshay getting trolled on the Internet because of his Canadian citizenship but yesterday, on India’s 77^th Independence Day, Khiladi Kumar informed everyone that he has given up his Canadian citizenship and now he is an Indian citizen.

Akshay Kumar who was earlier called Canadian Kumar by the haters took to X (former Twitter) to inform the same to his fans and followers. He posted the image of his citizenship documents and wrote, “Dil aur citizenship, dono Hindustani. Happy Independence Day! Jai Hind!” with the Indian flag emoji.
