Pushpa 2: The Rule released in 2024, again directed by Sukumar, with a strong ensemble cast including Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu and others. Today marks one year since the film hit the theatres and Allu Arjun celebrated the milestone with a warm message on social media.
On December 5, he shared a behind-the-scenes picture with Sukumar on X (formerly Twitter). In his note, he described Pushpa as a life-changing five-year journey for everyone involved. He expressed how deeply moved he felt by the love the franchise has received, saying that the audience’s support has given the team the strength to push themselves creatively and fearlessly. For him, the success of Pushpa is not just about numbers, it is about the connection people felt with the story and its world.
Allu Arjun also took a moment to acknowledge his entire team. He said that it has been an honour to work alongside the cast, technicians, production teams and distributors who shaped the film. He called director Sukumar the captain of the journey, appreciating the vision and dedication that brought the Pushpa universe to life. His message was filled with gratitude as he thanked every person who contributed to the film’s growth.
