We all know how ‘Mohenjo Daro’ failed very badly at the Box Office. Yes, the movie earned average reviews from both critics as well as audience. In spite of good promotions, the film failed miserably, may be due to lack of celebrity support which ‘Rustom’ enjoyed.
Now, Ameesha Patel, who was seen in the movie ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’, which was a super hit, has taken a sly dig at Pooja Hegde, the lead actress of ‘Mohenjo Daro’. Yes, at an event, she started comparing ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’ and ‘Mohenjo Daro’ and everyone was pretty surprised on this.
As per reports, Ameesha said,
“Of course main chahti hoon ki Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai 2 bane, par usse zyaada audiences chhahte hai ki woh bane. Log request karte hai,Hrithik aur mujhe, ki please come back together for Kaho Na Pyaar Hai 2, aur Mohenjo Daro ke promotions ke liye bhi, Pooja Hegde ne Kaho Na Pyaar Hai ke gaane pe Dubsmash kiya tha, aur Hrithik ne har jagah uske promotions kiye and I’m sorry the Mohenjo Daro didn’t do that well. Har film aise kaamyabi nahi paa sakti, with a newcomer. Kaho Na Pyaar Hai 2 banegi toh bumper opening hi hogi. Jaise Gadar adhuri hai mere bina, waise hi Kaho Na Pyaar Hai adhuri hai mere bina.”

She pointed out the fact that owing to Pooja Hegde being a newcomer, the film couldn’t do well. However, her way of saying it shows her attitude and over-confidence, isn’t it?
