There are still several uncertainties regarding the release of Padmaavat. With the days passing and the release date getting closer, the threats by Karni Sena are getting more intense.
That, however, has not impacted the enthusiasm of multiplex owners and they are in no mood to reduce the ticket rates to lure audience for film in tough situations. The ticket rates are as high as they are for any big Bollywood film.
You will be surprised to know that the ticket rate of Padmaavat at a Delhi multiplex named PVR: Director’s Cut is as high as Rs 2400.
Yes, that’s true. The said PVR property is one of the elitist properties in the country and that’s why they have huge ticket rates for all movies. And when it’s about a big film, it’s bound to be highest. Like Padmaavat, even Tiger Zinda Hai and Baahubali 2 ticket cost Rs 2400 in the premium theatre.
Take a look at the screenshot-
Well, if we add Rs 100 to it, Rs 2500 is enough to buy 10 movie tickets along with popcorn in a normal multiplex for morning shows. Isn’t it?
Well, all set and we are now just looking forward to the film’s final release. Fingers are crossed and let’s hope all the issues get sorted soon and the film gets a safe release.
