We all love going to amusement parks and enjoy exciting rides but have you ever thought that it can be deadly too? Yes, one such incident took place on Wednesday in an amusement park of Chennai when during trial, the ride took such an ugly and fatal turn that 20 people got injured while one guy from West Bengal lost his life at the moment when the ride crashed down from about 15ft.

In an appalling and horrific incident, Kishkinta Theme Park’s lofty Disco Dancer (merry-go-round) broke into 3 parts on account of some mechanical error and people who were sitting in it were tossed into air. Injured persons’ relatives claimed that the park’s few staff members had been compelled for the trial ride after it closed. A complaint has been lodged under IPC section 327 for causing injuries to employees and the owner of the park has been taken into custody.
