Anand Mahindra Is So Fed Up Of Webinars That He Wants To Replace This Word, Twitter Reacts

The coronavirus pandemic has forced all of us to stay at home as the government imposed lockdown in the country in order to keep a check on the virus transmission. The government ordered to close down the schools, colleges, cinema halls, gyms and all other places where mass gathering was possible.

While there were some who had nothing to do at home, several people had the option of working from home. Video-conferencing, online meetings, online trainings, webinars, etc. have become a part of the lives of those who are working from home.

However, the chairman of the Mahindra group, Anand Mahindra, does not seem to be much happy with webinar and wants this word to be banished from the dictionary despite the fact that it is quite new. Twitter users were quick to react on this and people came up with different names while some others poked fun at the situation. Here are some of the selected reactions:

Anand Mahindra is quite active on the social media networks and likes to share innovations and inventions that are taking place around the world. Some time ago, he tweeted about an autorickshaw driver who converted his vehicle as per the needs and guidelines of social distancing amid the coronavirus outbreak.

What is your take on webinar? Do you agree with Anand Mahindra over this? What word will you give for it?
