Anti-Romeo Squad Did It Again! Caught A Student Who Went To Teacher’s Home To Take Notes

The anti-Romeo squad of Uttar Pradesh police is one of the most talked about subjects in Moradabad at present. Some people are of the opinion that it’s a vital step taken by the govt. to protect women while few persons are calling it moral policing. There is absolutely no denying the fact that it’s a commendable and necessary move, provided that the squad implements it positively. Agree?

However, the recent incident which has taken place in Moradabad adds to the disgraceful incidents which have maligned the image of cops. It so happened that a female student went to her teacher’s home to take notes for the examination; nevertheless, the squad caught the duo and took them to the police station.

This all started with an anonymous phone call and the caller informed cops about a girl being alone with a man in a room. The anti-Romeo squad got very active after the call and caught the duo. Both the guy and the girl kept on clarifying that they were not a couple but the police was not ready to listen.

Meanwhile, the girl kept on pleading that she went to the teacher’s home just for taking notes for the examination; however, cops were in no mood to listen anything. Soon crowd gathered and cops took the duo to the police station.

The presence of a female police was necessary in this case but there was no female cop and even more amazingly, cops seemed to have overlooked or ignored the instructions of CM Yogi as well.

After few hours, police set the duo free without any action but an important question which arises here is that who would compensate for the insult that the girl and the teacher had to bear due to this shameful incident?
