Arshad Warsi Reacts To Salman Khan Replacing Him On Bigg Boss & Akshay Kumar On Jolly LLB

Asur 2, the web series, has been loved by the audiences and people have also loved the acting performances of the actors. Arshad Warsi who played an important role in the web series recently gave an interview in which he opened up on losing work to other actors, especially about getting replaced by Akshay Kumar in “Jolly LLB 2” and by Salman Khan in Bigg Boss.

The first season of the controversial reality show Bigg Boss was hosted by Arshad Warsi but after that, Salman Khan has been hosting the show and he is charging a whopping amount per episode. Arshad stated that he wasn’t able to shoot the second season as he had to go to London for a shoot. However, he also adds that he strongly feels Salman Khan is the best host that the show could have got and nobody could have done the job in a better manner than Salman Khan.

As far as “Jolly LLB” is concerned, Arshad Warsi played the lead role in the first part and he was replaced by Akshay Kumar in the second part but now both of them will be working together in the 3rd part.  When Arshad Warsi was asked about it, he said that it was the original plan, he was slated to do the first part and Akshay was supposed to do the second part  and now they both will team up for the third part.

Akshay and Arshad also featured together in “Bachchan Paandey” last year, however the movie was a failure at the box-office.

Arshad Warsi started his career as an assistant director to Mahesh Bhatt for movie “Kaash” (1987). He also worked as a choreographer in 1993 released film “Roop ki Raani Choron Ka Raja” which starred Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Sridevi and Anupam Kher in important roles. Arshad’s journey as an actor began in 1996 when his first movie “Tere Mere Sapne” released.

In an interview, Arshad Warsi says that though every actor feels that he could have worked more but he seriously feels that he is quite under used and he could have been a part of many more projects because many times he got replaced by other actors in the last minute. Arshad strongly feels that the makers did the wrong thing by replacing him at the last minute because he (Arshad) could have done a far better job that the actor who replaced him.

Arshad Warsi has entertained us with many acting performances in various movies but he is best known for his role of Circuit in the “Munna Bhai” series.
