Attack On Malala Yousafzai In 2012 Was Preplanned & Scripted, Claims Pak Woman Lawmaker

Pakistan’s Malala Yousafzai is referred to as an inspiration for all the women in the world, as she stood firm on her ground and didn’t bow down in front of terrorism. She has been actively working for female education and has also been awarded with a Nobel Peace Prize for her efforts.

However, a female Pakistani parliament member named Mussarat Ahmadzeb claimed that the attack on Malala was preplanned and “scripted.” Mussarat is a member of Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party and as per her, the female activist writing for BBC and then an attack on her was all planned. Mussarat made these claims during an interaction with Ummat, right-wing Urdu newspaper.

Here’s what she said,

“The attack on Malala was scripted way before the incident (in 2012).”

Mussarat Ahmadzeb is the daughter-in-law of the former ruler of Swat, a semi-autonomous state, and she raised suspicion over Malala being shot in head,

“She (Malala) was shot in the head but no bullet was found in the Computerised Tomography (CT) scan in Swat. But yes, then the bullet got stuck in her head in CMH (Combined Military Hospital) Peshawar.”

Not only this, she also alleged that the doctors involved in this matter were rewarded by the government in form of land plots for building houses. In her words,

“The medics who did the CT scan along with the doctor who examined her, all were awarded plots by the government.”

The lawmaker also claimed that Malala didn’t even know how to read and write when it was claimed that she wrote stories as Gul Makai for BBC. She also alleged that Malala was given training for three months so that she got prepared for the future and this training was imparted to her by an American who lived in Malala’s house.

On the other hand, the spokesperson of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, Shafqat Mahmood, said that Mussarat was disowned by the party in 2014 along with two other members as they didn’t abide by the laws of the party. He stated,

“During the protest against election rigging, three MNAs (Members of National Assembly) — Mussarat Ahmadzeb, Gulzar Ahmed and Siraj Muhammad — refused to abide by party laws (and were disowned).”

In October 2012, Malala was shot in head as she didn’t follow the instruction of Taliban regarding female education. She was saved and since then, she has been a role model for all those girls who are facing difficulty in getting themselves educated.

It was in the year 2013 that the girl formed Malala Fund with her father Ziauddin Yousafzai. Malala Fund aims at creating awareness on the socio-economic impact of educating girls and making them self-reliant. In 2014, she became the youngest person to win the Noble Peace Prize and shared this honor with Kailash Satyarthi, the Indian rights and education advocate.
